Ontario is the only province in Canada with a licensed private online gambling market. Registered operators hold an iGaming Ontario agreement and an AGCO registration; everyone else advertising to you sits outside that system. This page ranks only the registered ones, on the same five criteria we use nationally.

Is it legal, and what about OLG?
Yes. Since April 2022, Ontario has run a regulated commercial market: iGaming Ontario contracts with private operators, and the AGCO registers and polices them. OLG.ca still operates alongside them as the provincial crown option, the safest choice by definition, though its game library and payout speeds are not competitive with the best private books, and its promotions are thinner.
If a site is not on the iGO register, it is operating in Ontario outside the provincial framework. Some are reputable offshore books with Malta or Kahnawake licences. But if something goes wrong with your money, you have no Ontario regulator to appeal to, and that is the whole trade-off.
